Kentucky National Guard Assesses Ike Damage
Segments of four Kentucky National Guard units from the 149th Brigade Supply Battalion (BSB) came to Clinton Thursday to assess Hurricane Ike's damage. Dividing the county into six segments, Guard members fanned out looking for structural damage to residences from the storm.

....A reconsideration of the Constitution is particularly pressing at this moment in our history.

 We are facing a balance of powers issue, one created by an executive branch that believes itself to be more co-equal than the other two branches. Mrs. Cheney’s husband is a strong proponent of “Executive First”. Vice President Cheney is a strong advocate of the concept that the executive is far and away the senior partner with the judicial and legislative branches.
