The Hickman County Fiscal Court voted on Monday evening to oppose Utilities, Inc's request for a 50.8% increase. The Court authorized Judge Greg Pruitt to write to the Kentucky Public Service Commission. The Court will also ask the PSC to come to Clinton for a public hearing. 
Hickman County Judge/Executive Greg Pruitt administers the oath of office to Ricky Deweese on Friday, March 27. Deweese fills the seat of Magistrate Gary Jones, who resigned due to health reasons.Email editor@westkyjournal.com
