State Parks host fireworks in area

Many state parks will be holding special events for guests and campers – some on July 4 or at other times during the holiday weekend.
 
The following parks will have fireworks: Barren River Lake State Resort Park, Kenlake State Resort Park, Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park, Lake Barkley State Resort Park and  Rough River Dam State Resort Park.

Three Clinton businesses burglarized

Three Clinton businesses were robbed last weekend - the Kountry Cafe, T-Bones Drive In and Greg's Grocery. A suspect, Jackie Lee McDaniel, is in custody. He will be arraigned on at least two felony counts on Monday.
