Kentucky State Police: on the lookout for distracted drivers
 Inattentive driving is an important challenge for Kentucky drivers because last year more than 6,000 people nationally died in crashes related to it.  In Kentucky, there were over 53,000 related crashes resulting in over 15,000 injuries and 199 fatalities during 2008.....Kentucky recently adopted a new texting law that prohibits drivers from writing, sending or reading text-based messages while operating a motor vehicle. Additionally, the law bans the use of cell phones by drivers under age 18 while driving, with the exception of an emergency situation. The law went into effect April 25th, 2010 and allows law enforcement officers to issue warnings through Jan. 1, 2011. ..

Low cost housing + low environmental impact = high eye appeal

Who says that low cost rental property has to be ugly? Or energy hogs?  Not the new residents of this development in Blackpool England. 

To quote ArchitectNews.co.uk:
