Twelve authors and 35 artists and crafts people will be in Clinton on Saturday. Among them, Kentucky Monthly publisher Steven Vest with "Sacred Places" which features three churches from the Purchase.

The 7th Annual Art, Crafts & Book Fair will be Saturday, December 3rd at the Hickman Elementary Gym in Clinton from 8:30- 2:30. Other Christmas events will follow.

Editor's Note: Union City, TN, just a few miles south of the Kentucky border, will be the home of Discovery Park, a multi-million dollar theme park that will attract thousands of visitors. Discovery Park, slated to open in 2013, will also house a major geologic center. Students at UTM have already begun working to find wonders for all to behold.
