Washington GOP delegation announce plan to save Paducah plant
WASHINGTON, D.C – On Tuesday, U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, Senator Rand Paul and Congressman Ed Whitfield announced a path forward to preserve 1,200 jobs at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Paducah, Ky. Today’s agreement of a plan by the Department of Energy (DOE) is the culmination of years of hard work by the Kentucky delegation, the DOE and the Paducah community.
