Graves County High School will graduate a record number of seniors in the Class of 2015 Friday night. A line of some 339 graduates stretched from GCHS to Graves County Middle School Tuesday morning. Eventually, all the seniors marched through the first floor of the middle school.

Lynn Rogers, a carpentry instructor at Paducah Area Technology Center, was named the 2015 SkillsUSA Kentucky Advisor of the Year.

The prestigious "Advisor of the Year" award is given to those individuals who provide the guidance and leadership necessary to ensure America has an educated and highly skilled workforce. One of Roger's students, Sami Riis, also placed fourth in the carpentry division at the state competition.
