The Graves County School District's 700 faculty and staff members celebrated the Opening Day to the 2016-17 school year on August 3rd with fun, games, motivational speeches and a tribute to law enforcement and the U.S.A.

The generosity of Gibson Electric customers funds local charities

Gibson EMC's Change for the Community program donated $10,000 to local charities. Senior centers, food banks, youth programs and the Hickman County Historical and Genealogical Society picked up their awards on Wednesday, August 3rd.

All participants agreed that their needs are great and resources small.
