| Christmas came early for Lt. Governor Daniel Mongiardo and his wife, Allison. The Mongiardos are proud to announce the birth of baby girl born Tuesday evening.
“I am so excited,” said Lt. Gov. Mongiardo. “There is no greater gift than becoming a parent. Allison and the baby are doing fine and I just feel so blessed and am looking forward to all that lies ahead.”
The Lt. Governor said he plans to spend the Christmas holiday with his wife, baby and both sides of the family as they come to welcome home their baby girl.
Governor Beshear's office released this statement congratulating the Mongiardos.
"J "Jane and I look forward to meeting her and are happy to hear that mother, baby and father are all happy and healthy. What a wonderful Christmas blessing this is for the entire family.”
