For the first time, perhaps since Alben Barkley, Kentucky has an opportunity to elect a candidate with real integrity to the US Senate, a candidate who’s not afraid to take a stand on controversial issues and one who has the vision to lead Kentucky forward; that candidate is Darlene Fitzgerald Price.
Darlene Fitzgerald Price is the only candidate in Kentucky’s US Senate race who’s a woman, a veteran, and the only candidate who has had actual experience at the Federal level of government. Ms. Price has demonstrated patriotism and courage by not only serving as watchdog protecting our national security but also by defending her principles when she became a whistleblower for the US government.
Corporations continue to wield power over our politicians and have effectively hijacked our government. Ms. Price has set a precedence by refusing to accept corporate special-interest money to fund her campaign. I feel that, if elected, she would genuinely represent the interests of middle class folks here in Kentucky.
