Representative Melvin Henley (Dem - Calloway) and Rep. Jim Wayne (Dem. Jefferson) returned their paychecks to LRC for the recent special session.

The Special Session being the result of the General Assembly not doing its job during the regular session that ended in April, Henley and Wayne did the honorable thing returning their paychecks.

Taking pay for the special session is goofing off at the 40 hour a week job and then getting overtime pay to do what wasn't done when it should have been done.

Too bad the "leadership" in both House and Senate didn't see fit to return their pay.

Huzzah to the two who did.
