Comer for Ag Commissioner raises more than other candidates combined.

One Republican and Three Democrats fall short of Comer Campaign
 
FRANKFORT, Ky. (January 6, 2011) –The first campaign finance reports for statewide candidates have been filed with the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance, including the race for Commissioner of Agriculture.  Representative James Comer (R-Tompkinsville) has a commanding lead over his opponents including 1 other Republican in the GOP and 3 Democrats in the Democratic primary. Voters from 40 counties contributed over $108,000 to Comer for Ag Commissioner.  Comer’s campaign outpaced all 4 of his opponents combined by $35,000.
