Help Wanted -Applications now being accepted for educational boards

Nominations are now being accepted for the board of trustees, board of regents for eight universities

FRANKFORT, Ky. (May 3, 2011) – Applications are now being accepted for the board of trustees or board of regents for the following universities and are due by noon Eastern time on May 31, 2011.

* University of Kentucky Board of Trustees – Two vacancies

* University of Louisville Board of Trustees – Two vacancies

* Eastern Kentucky University Board of Regents – One vacancy

* Kentucky State University Board of Regents – One vacancy

* Morehead State University Board of Regents – One vacancy

* Murray State University Board of Regents – One vacancy

* Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents – One vacancy

* Western Kentucky University Board of Regents – One vacancy

Terms will expire June 30, 2011 creating the vacancies. Information from all applicants will be presents to the Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee for their meeting in early June.

Applications are also now being accepted for the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education, the Kentucky Authority for Educational Television and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System Board of Regents. Five terms have expired creating vacancies. Information from all applicants will be presented to the Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee for their meeting in early June. Applications are due by noon Eastern time on Tuesday, May 31, 2011.
