Graves County High School resource teachers receive special recognition for helping students achieve from three moms

THANK YOU! – Graves County High School resource teacher Miranda Reed (left) accepted a flower arrangement at the December meeting of the Graves County Board of Education.

Presenting it to Reed and her fellow teacher, Lori Emerson, who was not it attendance, are, from left, Amy Elliott, Jackie Lear, and Tammy Roach. Elliott spoke to the crowd at the meeting, saying the GCHS resource teachers invest their knowledge, skills, and hearts into helping their students achieve.

The presentation followed another one that acknowledged three students who won the Kentucky Council for Exceptional Children’s 2012 "Yes, I Can Award." They include the women’s children: Morgan Elliott, Logan Lear, and Megan Roach.
