 New voterLeslie McColgin of Lowes, a Graves County volunteer for the Barack Obama presidential campaign, signs up Robert J. Jackson as a new voter in Mayfield. McColgin and Obama volunteers Ann Perkins of Murray and Leslie Page-Keenan and Jeanie Embry, both of Paducah, recently staffed a voter registration table on South Sixth Street. They also handed out bumper stickers, buttons and candidate information and talked politics with passersby.
"We had so many people stopping by for bumper stickers that we ran out," McColgin said.
