Independent Candidate Enters Governor's Race
Drew Curtis & Heather Curtis, candidates for g,ov. and lt. gov.

(Frankfort, KY) Drew Curtis, creator of the snarky, conglomerate website Fark.com (linked on "More" below) is now officially a candidate for governor of Kentucky. His running mate, required under Kentucky law, is his wife Heather Curtis, a former social worker turned media mogul who has been chief operating officer of their media company for the past 16 years.

Curtis, an internet entrepreneur, offers himself as an alternative to Bevin vs. Conway.

In his answers to a Farm Bureau Q & A (he wasn't allowed to be at a candidates' debate), posted on his campaign website, Drew's Farm Bureau Answers Curtis summed up his view of his opponents:

"Bevin and Conway spent the debate trying their hardest to trash talk each other while agreeing on just about every single point. What else is there to say about the two of them? Bevin is a Tea Party extremist and Conway is trying so hard to get Republican swing voters that he was actually quoting Reagan. If Kentucky voters want a real change in Kentucky, they need to vote for a candidate who looks at facts first, not party politics."

Curtis was not allowed to speak at the Fancy Farm political speaking because he had yet to file as an official candidate. He was present and his supporters were out in force handing out literature and stickers.
