Purchase Area Jefferson Jackson Dinner 2011: Todd Hollenbach – Dems the positive party | Todd Hollenbach, Kentucky, Treasurer, election 2011, Democrat, Calloway County

Todd Hollenbach listens to speakers

Todd Hollenbach has been in the Purchase so many times he should get honorary citizenship.  Sometimes he comes alone, driving in for small events, other times Dad comes along. The senior Hollenbach is a former Jefferson County judge executive and candidate for statewide office. Those who don’t know the younger Hollenbach know the older.

Hollenbach told Democrats that their party is the big tent party. Along with his usual self deprecating jokes, he told the crowd that the Democratic Party is the forward looking, positive, affirmative party.

Hollenbach is running for a second term as state treasurer. He handily defeated Steve Hamrick in the May primary. He will face two opponents: Ken Moellman of the Libertarian Party and GOP candidate K. C. Crosbie, a Lexington/Fayette County council member.
