Graves County Schools host Nashville Predator representatives

 The Graves County Schools hosted several marketing representatives of the Nashville Predators National Hockey League team Monday, Sept. 26. Pictured at left, Angela Pearcy (left) of the dance squad and 2007 Paducah Tilghman High School graduate Kacey Hayden of the Goal Girls read a book to Lowes Elementary students as team mascot Gnash contemplates ways to pantomime the story. The three joined team executive vice-president/chief sales and marketing officer Chris Parker as he spoke at the Mayfield Rotary Club noon luncheon and on a visit to Graves County Middle School.

Graves County High School teacher Michelle McKee’s sports marketing students also got the chance to meet and learn from the professionals. The students heard team executive vice-president/chief sales and marketing officer Chris Parker speak at the Mayfield Rotary Club noon luncheon. They also accompanied others with the team to Graves County Middle School and Lowes Elementary.

Meanwhile, students at WGCE, GCHS’ state and national champion TV station took the opportunity to interview ParkerStudents at WGCE, GCHS’ state and national champion TV station took the opportunity to interview Parker. Rotarian and hockey fan Fred Biggs arranged the visit.
