Former Hickman Co. School Super running for judge

(Clinton, KY January 28, 2014) - Hickman County School superintendent Kenny Wilson retired December 31, 2013, ending a thirty year plus career in education.

In retirement, he presided as proud father over the wedding of his daughter, Allison. He went duck hunting. He did some housework, as in painting the interior of his house.

On January 27, 2014, he filed to run for county judge executive of Hickman County.

In his announcement posted on Facebook, Wilson said "After much prayer, debate and thought, I decided to run for County Judge Executive. Hickman County is a wonderful safe place to live and work. Our campaign slogan will be "Focusing on a Community Spirit of Cooperation." We will be promoting creativity, cooperation and integrity. Many thanks for everyone's support!"

Wilson joins two other candidates, Hickman County Jailer Chad Frizzell and Joey McGee. The three will meet in the Democratic primary in May.
