(Fancy Farm, KY) - James Comer is a familiar face to Western Kentucky. As Agriculture Commissioner, he completed a circuit of all 120 Kentucky counties. He declined to run for another term as Ag Commish and chose to go for the Governor's Mansion. He fell short by only a few votes to Matt Bevin. Now he is back running for the seat vacated by Ed Whitfield.

Comer offered the crowd at Fancy Farm "a strong conservative voice" in Washington. He was short on details on details. Facing long shot Sam Gaskins, Comer is seen as the odds on favorite.

He was the only candidate to offer his website address. JamesComer.com and he was the only candidate to paraphrase Donald Trump's slogan of "Make America Great Again."

Comer wants to "Make Kentucky Great Again."
