MURRAY - Alison Lundergan Grimes, Kentucky's Secretary of State, will keynote the 2018 annual Purchase Area Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner on Friday, June 15.
Grimes will be joined by Kentucky Democratic House leader Rocky Adkins at the event, slated for the Murray University Curris Center.
The annual event is sponsored by the Calloway County Democratic Party.
"There is a lot of excitement for 2018 among Democrats in Kentucky and we are excited to have two of Kentucky's best leaders coming to Murray," David Ramey, Calloway County Democratic Party chair said. "I have no doubt that Alison and Rocky will have our friends fired up for November."
A silent auction and social hour will start at 6:00 p.m. CDT. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p. m.
Local and area candidates will also be speaking.
