The TransMahal of Frankfort

The new Transportation Building is a triumph of sorts. Its big- 420,000 square feet - spread out over ten acres. An award winning design, it's a must see for all Kentuckians. In addition to its architectural charm, it's the house that potholes built, where blacktop is water cooler conversation and its the building whose employees  brought down a governor.  There's a cafeteria and a nice little eatery across the street - for those who want to gaze in, rather than look out.
