The Second Congressional District
The Second Congressional District
With Shelby and a piece of Jefferson Counties on the northeast edges and Daviess and Warren Counties on the western edges, the 2nd is a district with military ties – Ft. Knox, Ft. Campbell with active duty and retirees in the thousands. It's a district with blue collar workers, farmers, small towns and heartland values. The Second Congressional District held family values before there was a name for it.

Governor Beshear selects Billy Harper, GOP candidate for governor in 2007, to serve on the Kentucky State Board of Education, according to PolWatchers.com

Go get 'em, Billy!

UPDATE: Harper was featured in the Sunday Paducah Sun for breaking a racing record. Living well and doing your own thing has left Harper in a better spot than his two opponents in the GOP gov. primary.
