The Time is Right” for Ballard Circuit Clerk Faye Haney
Since 1981, Faye Haney has been a familiar face in the Ballard County Courthouse.  Anyone renewing their drivers license, paying a traffic fine or reporting for jury duty has been greeted by a smiling face and a helpful attitude.  In January of 2009, the helpful attitude and smiling faces will remain, however, the lady at the top will no longer hold the reins. Faye Haney will be attending to other important matters - her family.

One Stop Website - Great for those who can use it
http://www.assistance.ky.gov.  This one-stop-shop provides readily accessible links for struggling Kentuckians to help find critical resources in tough times, such as health insurance and home mortgage information.
 
Editor's Note : I checked it out - pretty helpful links. Of course, I have broadband computer access which many struggling West Kentuckians lack.


How about  the state sending out a snail mail letter to recipients of state programs  with information on where to go to get access to computers and help using them?

Or maybe a public information television campaign? Or both?
