Judge Bill Cunningham - West Kentuckian

Judge Bill Cunningham said that being a West Kentuckian in Frankfort is “Wonderful. Every day when I drive up the mall and see that huge beautiful edifice and thinks of the wonderful people far away and in a different time zone that I represent, I get a high. I am just so humbled to be there.”

No one in my family went shopping on Black Friday. We all are making gifts or buying locally made foods and crafts for gifts this year.
 
Somewhere past a grandson taking his first step into the arms of his soldier father and a forty year in the making family dinner, I found my Thanksgiving spirit of saying “Thank you, God, for my joys and wealth.”

Student Debaters
Last week, Ivan and I were asked to be judges at a regional debate among four local high schools. Carlisle, Hickman, Fulton Counties and Fulton City Schools all sent students from their high school advanced programs to compete.

What an honor and delight to see such bright young people listen to each other's arguments and use logic in their own to win the day!
