The Dan Mongiardo for Senate team seems to have gotten a break in their weather since last weekend’s slip of the tongue put opponent Jack Conway on the defensive for the first time since the two men announced their intentions of running for Sen. Jim Bunning’s seat in the US Congress.

Partnership between MSU and MCC
Joint agreement reached between Murray State University and Madisonville Community College
 
The agreement allows MCC students with 30 to 45 transferable credit hours to be jointly admitted to MSU. Students will follow transfer frameworks for their program of interest at Murray.

Paul's in the Senate race for sure
Rand Paul officially announced he is a candidate for the GOP nomination for the seat currently held by Jim Bunning.  Secretary of State Trey Grayson is the acknowledged frontrunner on the Republican side.
Paul describes himself as an "outsider" in politics. That's a similar characterization to his father, Ron Paul's, political career.  
If he runs the same kind of campaign that Dad ran in presidential race in a smaller pond, there will be fireworks ahead on the GOP side of the ballot.
