Haiti: Undamaged hospital waits for patients
Former Louisville resident Dr. Joni Paterson now lives in Massachusetts. She works for the Crudem Foundation, an organization that has been working in Haiti since 1968. The organization runs a hospital, Hopital Sacre Coeur, that provides medical care in Northern Haiti, 75 miles from Port au Prince.
The good news - the hospital wasn't damaged in the quake.  The bad news - despite facilities and professionals eager to receive patients - as of Saturday, only four had arrived from the capital 75 miles away.
