Nuclear power plant at PGDP??? mugged by Univ. of KY "researcher" who then calls police on me!
"Last night I went to the West Kentucky Community and Technical College in Paducah to attend a “focus group discussion of the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PGDP) Future Use Vision.” This is purportedly a “scientific study” (which is a bunch of BS) that will “assist the local community to identify a vision for the future of the PGDP.” The so-called “study” is being headed by a Dr. Lindell Ormsbee from the Kentucky Research Consortium for Energy and Environment.
 
At the beginning, it was explained that this study was the result of a “federal earmark facilitated by Sens. McConnell, Bunning, and Rep. Whitfield....”

The drainage basin of the Cumberland River encompasses an area of 17,914 square miles, making it by far the largest watershed with an origin in Kentucky.  Of this area, the Upper Cumberland River drains approximately 5,180 square miles of southeastern Kentucky.
