Wingo student brings grandfather to show and tell about war experiences on Veterans’ Day

AFFAIR – Wingo Elementary student Cody Miller (wearing yellow tee-shirt) brought his grandfather, U.S. military veteran Donald Rogers, to school on Veterans’ Day. Rogers showed his uniform and photos to his grandson and the rest of the second grade students. He also told about his experiences in the Vietnam War.

Editor's Note: I found a last summer's email from Sandie George that fits in with Suzanne's article on fruit trees.

I have also been interviewing authors for publication and had the opportunity of interviewing Len Deighton - famed for 'The Ipcress File'...  His publishers are reissuing many of his titles, including his early cookbooks, which were really directed at men who could not cook.
