PSC Chair David Armstrong and his staff came to Clinton Wednesday evening to hear what Clinton customers think of the water company's proposed 22% increase. 

Not surprisingly, the company's representative was the only voice in favor of the increase.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (June 22, 2011) – Gov. Steve Beshear today recognized the sacrifice of a Fort Knox soldier who died while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

According to the Department of Defense, Sgt. James W. Harvey II, 23, of Toms River, N.J., died June 20 in Ghazni province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with small arms fire. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Knox, Ky.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (June 24, 2011) - Governor Steve Beshear today announced MVP Group International, a manufacturer of candles and home fragrance products, will expand its Mayfield operations. The company will add 16 new jobs to its existing employment base of 110 in Mayfield.

Yes. This is THE candle factory that collapsed. Present Governor Beshear's father celebrated its opening.
