UNION CITY, TN – August 21 Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City (BMH-UC) has become a Founding Circle sponsor at Discovery Park of America.
BMH-UC will be the name sponsor for a cabin in the historic farm area that will feature buildings and exhibits representing life in rural communities in the mid-1800’s. The cabin, recently donated by the Wade family, will exhibit doctor’s equipment and supplies from the mid 1800’s giving visitors a look at what medical treatment was like almost 150 years ago... Discovery Park of America, Inc. will be a $100 million educational complex with exhibits and interactive experiences in the areas of nature, science, technology, history, and art. Discovery Park is expected to open in mid-2013.
