Jobs, education, tax reform, Eastern Kentucky's SOAR, bragging about Kentucky's ACA clone kyconnect and (wait for it) expanded gaming shared Governor Beshear's To-Do list for 2014.

From A for Affordable Care to T for Tax Reform, the Governor ran the gamut of past accomplishments and future plans in his one hour address to the General Assembly.

Not getting honorable mention - W for Western Kentucky.

Madisonville lawmaker Ben Waide accused of misconduct

In a lawsuit, Madisonville Republican Representative Ben Waide has been accused by his business partners of misusing company funds for campaign purposes. A complaint was also filed with the Registry for Election Finance.

The Lexington Herald Leader reported the story on January 3rd. Oddly enough, we didn't see it in our regional paper. Hmmmm....
