Arts Council Celebrates 10th Years With New Arts Fair

In 2014, the Hickman County Clinton Arts Council, Inc., celebrates its 10th year of operations. It's time again for the Arts Fair which is going to be the biggest ever.

Over the past ten years, with money generated by the Friends of Hickman County Arts, the Council has sponsored musical performances for young people, gardening and beautification programs, "Romeo and Juliet", folk artists, created quilt squares in public spaces, sponsored photography contests, book signings and scholarship programs, to name only some of the events throughout the last nine years the Council has been in existence.

No-Count Dog going to Kentucky Book Fair!

No-Count Dog, the story of the hound who went from nuisance to hero in forty picture book pages, will be among the 200+ titles offered at this year's Kentucky Book Fair in Frankfort on November 15th. When asked to comment on the exciting trip to come, the hound said what he always says when he doesn't know what to say - "AH-ROO. AH-ROO. AH-ROO!"
