Garan reunion Saturday

Garment manufacturing was a job creator in the last half of the twentieth century in Clinton Kentucky. Hundreds of families benefited from steady jobs. Women became managers and floor supervisors.

On Saturday, the Hickman County Historical Society will honor the Garan workers with a reception.

PTHS students chosen for Governor's Scholars Program

Paducah Tilghman High School juniors Anna Grace McGee, Peyton Patel, Emery Wainscott, Taylor Willis, and Kaleb White have been chosen as scholars, and Jose Ricardo dos Remedios has been chosen as an alternate, for the 2017 Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program.
