Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue toured the UK hemp research facility this week. Perdue was accompanied by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Kentucky Secretary of Agriculture Ryan Quarles...

Perdue most likely was glad to get out of the Capital City to the friendlier climes of Kentucky. The Secretary has been in the news in recent days for a controversial decision to move out of the DC area two research arms of his agency.

Last week President Trump made a vow to the American people. As he signed into law by Presidential executive orders new EPA rules, he made this statement, "My administration is putting an end to the war on coal."

The war isn't going well as two more mining companies shut down.
