Republican Representive (House District 1) Steven Rudy stopped by the GOP Rally in Bardwell on Saturday afternoon long enough to greet the Governor, shake his hand and introduce Mrs. Rudy to the Governor. Then he left.

Several GOP loyalists scratched their heads and wondered why he wouldn't stay for an event in the middle of his district with his party's leader and over 125 party faithful. Rudy has denied that he has any interest in changing political parties. Yet his actions make us wonder.
