Graves High Band members, directors represent Kentucky, performing in Seattle, Wash.

TAKING MUSIC TO NEW HEIGHTS – Three Graves County High School Band students were selected to perform with the Kentucky Lion's Club All-State Band this summer. The 2011 Lion's Club International Convention Parade of Nations was held in July in Seattle, Wash.

The parade featured bands and an estimated 10,000 Lions from 100 countries, many in native dress. The Kentucky band placed second in the All-State Band Division. One highlight of the trip was sightseeing at the Grand Tetons, Wyoming
