Paducah Middle students earn honors for high scores

Forty Paducah Middle School seventh grade students qualified for the Duke Talent Identification Program this school year, with nine students taking  the ACT or SAT through Duke TIP this winter. Of those, five qualified for State Recognition and four qualified for National Recognition.

Rohit Vadarevu, Michael Ellen Walden, Caroline Meiners, Claire Kelly and Will Denton received State Recognition for ACT scores that were 20 or higher on the Math and English sub-sections of the test, or 21 or over on the Reading and Science sub-sections of the test.

Rohit Vadarevu, Michael Ellen Walden, Caroline Meiners, and Claire Kelly also qualified for Grand Recognition for ACT scores that were 28 or over on the English and Math sub-sections, 30 or over on the Reading sub-section, 26 or over on the Science sub-section, or a composite score of at least 26.
