PTHS student Bobby Caldwell honored
PTHS senior Bobby Caldwell

(Paducah, KY, October 19, 2012) - Paducah Tilghman High School (PTHS) senior Bobby Caldwell has been named an Outstanding Participant in the 2013 National Achievement Scholarship Program. These students scored in the top 3 percent of more than 160,000 Black Americans who requested consideration in the 2013 National Achievement Program when they took the 2011 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

Caldwell is a  team captain for PTHS Wrestling. He is a member of the Speech team, Spanish Club, Chess Club, Mock Trial, and Recycling Club. He is president of Skills USA and is a member of the Kappa League.

Caldwell plans to attend the University of Louisville and major in computer engineering. His parents are Deanna Caldwell and Derrick DuLaney.
