Extension Homemakers Week is October 11-17.

The County Officers and Club Presidents (and any County Committee Chairpersons who are able to attend) are asked to be at Mayfield City Hall before 6:00 pm on Monday October 12 to be recognized by the Mayor at the City Council meeting. There is a possibility we will meet with the Graves County Fiscal at 4:30 the same day. We are working on some spots for the radio for that week.

Gluten Free Living - Thursday, October 29, 2015 - 10 am

This learning session will help participants understand celiac disease and the basics of a gluten-free diet. This session will describe celiac disease, gluten and selected gluten free grains and starches. Participants will receive time saving tips and guidance for setting up a gluten free kitchen.

Beginning Serger Workshop - Graves Co Ext Office - October 28 2015 - 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

This is the perfect opportunity to learn how to operate your serger. Master Clothing Volunteers will be on hand to guide you step-by-step through the intimidating process of threading and other important tips for using your serger. Please bring your serger and the instruc-tion book to class. Oh, and by all means bring your patience. Date and time are on the calendar. For more info please call Millie Green at 270-841-2674.

Calling all "happy hookers" to come and join the fun of crochet hooks and skeins of yarn coming together with happy hookers to be turned in to fabulous creations for personal use or for gift giving.
