The News of Her Departure is Premature....

Last we saw Jennifer Moore, she was yukking it up with the Governor and Mark Bryant at a fundraiser on Wednesday evening. The head of the Democratic Party - the Governor and his second in command, Moore, didn't look like they had a care in the world.

So we were pretty surprised when we got a call from Central Kentucky on Thursday evening.  The caller said that the word from West Kentucky was that Jennifer Moore, Kentucky Democratic Chair, gave a resignation letter to the Governor, postdated November 5th.

Not so, say our reliable sources.

There is no letter and there are no plans to resign. Moore has said publicly that she is committed until November 4th. After that, she will decide whether to concentrate on  her successful Louisville law practice or continue as Democratic Party Chair.

The Kentucky Democratic Party has been compared to herding cats. Some days it looks more like herding velociraptors. This is one of those days.
