 Tiffany Carlson, Emerge Kentucky graduate, running for Marshall County School Board. Benton, KY -- Monday, August 8th, 2016, Tiffany Carlson, a Certified Kentucky Paralegal at the Law offices of Blankenship, Edwards & Darnall and resident of Benton, filed to run for Marshall County School Board, District 5.
Carlson is a graduate of Marshall County High School, a parent to a current student there and a member of the band's booster club. If elected, she will be a voice for students, parents and teachers and work to improve the county's education policies and improve academic outcomes.
"I'm excited to throw my hat into the ring for District 5's school board position and look forward to having the opportunity to serve the residents of Marshall County," said Carlson. "I believe my background and experience will help me bring a fresh approach and new ideas to the board while continuing the excellence of the school system."
Carlson is a board member for CASA by the Lakes for Marshall County, president of the Western Kentucky Paralegals, liaison for the Kentucky Paralegal Association and would bring years of management experience to the position. She is also a 2015 graduate of Emerge Kentucky's candidate training program.
Tiffany lives with her husband, Michael and son, Zachary. Her home is foster to adopt certified. |
