Kentucky National Guard Assesses Ike Damage
Segments of four Kentucky National Guard units from the 149th Brigade Supply Battalion (BSB) came to Clinton Thursday to assess Hurricane Ike's damage. Dividing the county into six segments, Guard members fanned out looking for structural damage to residences from the storm.

When asked if any assessment of damage had been made, Sgt. Partain told us that the job of his unit is to "Go out and see what we see." A report will be submitted to the Emergency Management Team who will "roll up" the information and issue its own conclusion. So far, Sgt. Partain has seen only trees down in the southeast quadrant of the county.
The 149th will finish in Clinton today and then move to other counties in West Kentucky.
