Over 500 Supporters Wait to See Clinton and Lunsford
Glenn Dexter, of Paducah, got in line early in the morning, 7:30 am, to be first in line Friday to see former President Bill Clinton and senatorial candidate Bruce Lunsford.  The doors opened at 10:00.  Dexter wasn't the only one to come early. The line to get in stretched the length of the Cherry Auditorium parking lot and beyond.

Once inside, there were few chairs for supporters (only for those with special needs) and true to form, President Clinton kept the crowd waiting for his entrance.  Rep. Fred Nesler and singing Judge Shay Nickles, Dem Party Chair Jennifer Moore, former Governor Martha Layne Collins,  former Hillary Clinton Kentucky campaign chair, Jerry Lundergan and Paducah labor leader and former representative Larry Sanderson warmed up the crowd.
