I've been "off the air" for awhile. Long enough for friends to call and email to see if we survived the storm. We did.  There are tree limbs down all over the place. We will have a "size of the clean-up" story in the next few days. 

Much has happened over the past few weeks that took me away from the joyful avocation of writing this journal.  

I was out of town. Our son came home from Afghanistan, healthy and glad to see his family. He's home for good, as far as we know.  I got that awful whatever - upper respiratory thing - that goes around every spring. Ivan has it now. He's lying on the couch moaning as I write this.  His mom was hospitalized for a few days with it, so we aren't taking it lightly.  



So, here's the question, did I miss anything?
