Hickman Fiscal Court Votes to Oppose Water Rate Increase

The Hickman County Fiscal Court voted on Monday evening to oppose Utilities, Inc's request for a 50.8% increase. The Court authorized Judge Greg Pruitt to write to the Kentucky Public Service Commission.  The Court will also ask the PSC to come to Clinton for a public hearing.

Judge Pruitt told the Court that he had been following the case closely. In his opinion, the increase requested is excessive.
