Democrats go whole hog on Saturday



Adam Edelen, the Governor's chief of staff, drove down from Lexington to represent Beshear. Edelen told the crowd that without stimulus funds, 34% lay offs in some sectors of state government would have been a necessity.
Calloway County Democrats came
early to get a good table.








Fulton County Chair Robert Simpson encouraged fellow Democrats to work together for Dem candidates.
At right, nobody sings My Old Kentucky Home like Judge Shea Nickell. He was around to lead a chorus on Saturday.

















Below left- former McCracken Court Clerk Mike Lawrence spoke to the crowd for the first time since his loss to Steve Rudy to represent House District 1. Is Lawrence running again? He would neither confirm nor deny - a decision will be made in the fall. 
Below right, Herb McKee, a special deputy to KDP Chair Charlie Moore, is a contact point for First Congressional Dems. He said the KDP had not forgotten the Purchase.  






















Treasurer Todd Hollenbach drove down from Louisville and entertained the crowd with his personal brand of partisan humor.
