Accident closes I-65 in Western KY

Northbound Interstate 65 closed at Horse Cave

FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 26, 2010) — Northbound Interstate 65 is closed at mile marker 58, in Hart County, due to a multivehicle crash that happened just after 6 a.m. EDT today. The estimated closure will last at least eight hours.

Northbound traffic is being detoured at Exit 58, the Horse Cave exit, to KY 218, US 31E and KY 61. Traffic can link back to I-65 at Exit 91 at Elizabethtown.

Temporary lane closures are possible along southbound I-65.

Motorists are advised to use caution along the detour route. Delays are expected.
