Treasurer Todd Hollenbach explains his program to get more unclaimed funds to Kentuckians to Ivan Potter as Dad Hollenbach looks on.

Kentucky State Treasurer Todd Hollenbach IV turned up in Murray Friday evening at the Purchase Area Jefferson Jackson Dinner with his dad. Todd Hollenbach, Sr., former Jefferson County Judge Executive. The two Hollenbachs seemed to enjoy meeting old friends in Calloway County.
The Treasurer has been touring the state promoting a program to use local talent to find unclaimed property claimants. Meeting with local judges, Hollenbach is trying to distribute more of the millions of unclaimed dollars – insurance premiums, awards, refunds and other miscellaneous funds, for which his office is charged to find the proper owners. Hollenbach wants to see more of the funds go to their rightful owners.
When asked what office he would be running for as his first term winds down, he said he would be running for another term as state treasurer.
Hollenbach is always a crowd pleaser at the Jefferson Jackson Dinner. He did his best to stir up the crowd with old fashioned red meat partisan political stumping. He was as well received at this year’s gathering as he has been in years past. His performance surely made Dad Hollenbach proud.
