2010 - The Ice House Gallery in Mayfield is featuring one of kind constructed art using gourds, paint and a whole bunch of imagination.

The Gourd Festival is an amazing show of artistry in vegetables. Hopefully, it will happen in 2022.

Mayfield's Ice House Gallery has gourds galore on display in anticipation of the Gourd Festival.

At left, Kentucky Colonel, a full sized horse made of gourds and dressed in traditional hunt clothing. The piece by Frederick Merida was judged Best of Show.
